Why aren't you getting callbacks? I'll tell you.
I read resumes and portfolios for a living. I'll read yours the way the panel will read them at the next five companies you apply to, out loud.
The resume decides whether I open the portfolio. The portfolio decides whether I open the resume again. If either one fails, the other never gets a fair read, which is why I don't review them separately. Password walls, hero lines that say nothing, a resume that claims lead scope the case studies don't show. Nobody tells you, because rejection emails don't. I will.
what this is
One hiring manager's read of your resume and portfolio as a pair, with a written list of what to fix and in what order. Over 1,700 candidates crossed my desk this year for senior and lead product design roles, and the read that sorted them isn't mine alone. Every hiring manager who came up through the Nielsen and Norman school reads a case study on the same three axes: what you owned, how much direction you needed, and who you moved. I built the design career ladder and the hiring bar at Sigma Computing from scratch, then rebuilt them at Bubble. I'll tell you where you land on those axes, and that placement holds at the next company too.

A guarantee of interviews, offers, or a title bump. Your materials are one input. The market, the role, and your work history are the others, and I don't control those.

How it works
Session 1
The review (60 min, $200). You send the intake form, your resume, and your portfolio link first. I read both before we talk, then read them again live on the call, resume first, the way I'd read them in a queue with forty more behind it. You hear where I stop, where I skim, where the resume and the portfolio contradict each other, and where I'd close the tab. Within two days you get a written punch list for both documents: what's costing you the callback, what to fix first, what to leave alone.
Session 2
The follow up (45 min, $100). Book it when you’ve made the changes to both. I re-read the resume and portfolio cold and tell you whether the fixes worked and whether they now tell the same story. Most people need one round. If you need a second, we’ll talk about whether it’s the materials or the targeting.

What you get: a recording of the review, the written punch list covering resume and portfolio, and one follow-up if you want it. Video call only. No Slack channels, no open-ended access; the value is in my read and documented feedback.
